I set out with one goal while designing the Hyperion pendants: find a way to produce jewelry to pushes the limits of my stone setting skills and creativity without breaking the budget.

Beginning with the ‘skeleton’ of the piece, I hand fabricated and sculpted the scroll elements that would act as adornments for the primary stone settings. Once I was happy with their composition, I made a mold and cast duplicates. This gave me a blank canvas with no stone settings where I could transform each piece into a one of a kind piece of jewelry. I incorporated shapes and sizes of gemstones that I normally would have overlooked in my design process. Every piece features unique stone settings and includes a matching 24in oxidized sterling silver Acanthus II chain. This series helped expand my abilities as a designer and as a bench jewelry. I am proud to present the Hyperion series.
