A cold wind howls across the frosted vistas of the Boreal Valley and above it all the Cathedral of Irithyll looms.

It should come as so surprise that my work is deeply inspired by my love for all things Fantasy. This pendant was inspired by my journey through Hidetaka Miyazaki‘s gaming masterpiece Dark Souls. I wanted the capture the foreboding sense of being watched the player feels while first approaching Irithyll of the Boreal Valley. By utilizing a custom cut optical Quartz cab I was able to create the illusion the cathedral window is watching over you, no matter what angle the pendant is held at. I adorned the piece with ice blue aquamarines and sapphires to encapsulate the frosty setting. The chain included this piece was entirely hand made, joining dozens of hand made links into a one of a kind foxtail chain. The pendant is designed to hang on the bail of the chain, ensuring the wearer never has to rotate the chain to hide the clasp.
This one of a kind pendant features 161 stones, including a custom cut optical quartz my Micheal Rhodes, aquamarine, amethyst, white and blue, zircon, and orange, yellow, and blue sapphires set into sterling silver.
